Women's Master Rowing
Wow accepts new members every May.
Check back in the Spring to attend their informational
meeting.
The NAC currently offers an informal women's master's
rowing program. The Women on Water (WOW) are made up of
women of all ages and experience. They began with a group
of moms, whose children were athletes on the NAC Junior
Rowing Team. WOW is still very involved with and supportive
of the Junior Rowing program.
As a group they row every Saturday morning at 7 am.
Throughout the week, various women schedule use of the
equipment for early morning workouts.
How to Get involved:
1. You must be a
member
of the NAC. Additional Dues are $45 a quarter (3 months).
2. You must take at least two
private lessons
on the water, one erg lesson, and practice on your own
until you feel confident with the basics of rowing. You
must also be able to swim and tread water for at least 5
minutes.
3. Contact the
NAC
to join.
Feel free to email
